While at iDevices I was able to see the progression of the site from being very generic and outdated to a simple, professional, and very appealing website. This slideshow shows that progression of the homepage throughout my time at iDevices beginning with what the site looked like before the redesign. My role in the homepage varied throughout the time I was there but consisted of creating elements such as screen shots, taking product photos and designing the product section. I also helped to lay the groundwork by giving creative input on the first update for the redesign including animation elements, navigation design and icon design.

The iGrill website was in much of the same state as the iDevices website in that it needed a redesign pretty badly. The slides to the left show the progression over time of the iGrill homepage. My role in the iGrill homepage began as designing the classic iGrill site before the launch of the iGrillmini.

My role in this page was to take over the design after the header had been designed and background elements had been introduced. I designed two animations in this page that relayed throughout the the site being used in places such as Kitchen Thermometermini and iBeacon. The first is the Smart LED animation which describes what each light represents by showing the color on the device with coordinating word animations. The second is the proximity animation which describes how the proximity feature works by showing a phone that scrolls to the right closer to a product until the device shows up on the phone. I also introduced the use of the orthographics that I created for the Tech Specs section of all the product pages.
The Inside page's purpose is to give a closer look at iDevices and their culture. My role in this page was the overall design as well as being responsible for the first company portrait, image collage and employee photos. These photos were limited to management, and were continuously updated as the company grew.
The Creations page's purpose is to share the companies products and to provide a little information on how they came to life. I designed the first redesign of this page as well as the updated redesign of the site to include the new product families, iGrill and Kitchen Thermometer.
Many services are offered at iDevices. The Services page is meant to quickly introduce each service to give the user a good idea of what iDevices is all about and how they can help someone to app enable their products. My role in this page was the design of the entire page, as well as the photography that seperated each section and related to the above service.

iDevices first started using Zendesk to support their customer support needs. This site would provide manuals, FAQs, and brief descriptions to help users better understand the product. Through our research we found that users would get fed up easily if the experience in the support site wasnt smooth and easy. This was especially due to the most common reason for users entering the support site, which was having an issue with the product or app. My role in this site was designing the support home page and the product support pages.

As the company grew, the need for a well organized press page and press kit were needed. I designed the press home page and the product press pages. I also created/designed the press documents such as the imagery zip and the press pdf's available for download.

When I first started working for iDevices there were two seperate stores. One for iGrill, and one for iShower. These pages were also in desperate need of a redesign, especially since we had updated the rest of the website. With a new direction in the company, I designed a universal store for all iDevices products. Then with new products coming out, I designed all the product information pages within the store. I also continued to redesign elements on the page as the site progressed and updated.
For the release of Kitchen Thermometer I designed an HTML email that linked to the Kitchen Thermometers shopping page and also to the iDevices Connected app. This email was sent to all iDevices, iGrill, and iShower subscribers and increased revenue of the product over mothers day.
